I desperately wanted a day to relax but that wasn't part of the plan!

We decided due to the school concerns that we should look for a home, even if it is temporary.  I happened to find a modest home at a great price for rent in the school we were hoping for.  I went to look at it and we put down the deposit quickly! 

The house is a 2 bedroom plus den with a yard and it is in a great quiet neighborhood two blocks from the school and playground.  It looks rough on the outside but the inside is quite charming.  The owner just bought the house the other day and is a real estate investor who is planning on demolishing the house next summer.  This is perfect for us because we don't want a long term lease and he is totally okay with us doing whatever we want in the house and having pets is fine!  So we signed a nine month lease.

Plus the beer bottle opener was already installed for Paul.

We contacted the moving company and now we just have to wait and see how long it will take to get our stuff.  It's in Seattle somewhere!

This meant that I had to go back to the giant Seattle Public School office and fill out the address change forms.  I got to the building (the day before school started) and the line was literally out the door.  So the kids and I waited forever but we had all of the right paperwork and we quickly got reassigned to the school we were hoping for. Yippee!!!!!
